By: Alexandrea van Huizen Like everybody else out there, I watch a ton of television and thanks to the wonders of the internet, I get to watch shows from all over the world. So here is a list of a few shows that are not very popular because they aren’t televised worldwide yet. I personally enjoy them all and I hope after reading this, you will all go forth and start watching (and loving) them as well. 1. The fosters (drama)Produced by Jennifer Lopez. Set in the city of San Diego, Stef and Lena, a mixed racial same-gender couple, raise their three children, Brandon, Jesus and Mariana. Brandon (David Lambert), is the eldest and the only child related to the couple. He is the son of Stef (Teri Polo) from her previous marriage. The twins, Jesus (Jake T. Austin) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) were adopted by the couple when they were about 5 years old. In the pilot episode, we are introduced to Callie (Maia Mitchell) when Lena (Sherri Saum) decideds to foster her. As the series goes on, we see how the lives of the 'Fosters' change forever. 2. Baby daddy (comedy)Like the name of the show suggests, the series is about Ben Wheeler (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), who becomes a dad overnight after his ex-girlfriend leaves baby Emma outside his doorstep. With the help of his best friend Tucker (Tahj Mowry), brother Danny (Derek Theler), mom Bonnie (Melissa Peterman) and childhood friend Riley (Chelsea Kane), Ben decides to raise his baby. This show is full of antics and will leave you in stitches! 3. Devious maids (drama/comedy)A series produced by Eva Longoria about the lives of four Latina maids working in Beverly Hills for rich families, which continues to unfold after the murder of their friend, Flora. Zoila (Judy Reyes) and her daughter Valentina (Edy Ganem) have been working for the Delatour family for a very long time and the relationship between both families couldn't be better! Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez), an aspiring singer is happy to have found a job working for Latin singer Alejandro but she goes through a lot of obstacles to try and get her music career started. Rosie (Dania Ramirez), is a religious but simple-minded maid, all she really wants more than anything is to bring her son over to the US to be with her. She also works for a movie-star couple, Spence and Peri Westmore. The others are soon introduced to Marisol who claims to be a maid but has her own secret motive for getting close to them. 4. the following (crime/drama/mystery)Follows the lives of Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), a gifted and charming, yet deranged writer turned serial killer, who had formed a cult who believe in his cause and are willing to kill and die for him, prior to his imprisonment and Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon), the protagonist in Carroll's imaginary next novel. It is a cat and mouse chase between the two as Hardy tries his best to get Carroll locked up for good after he escapes. 5. twisted (drama/mystery/thriller)Story about three childhood best friends, Danny, Jo and Lacey. Things got complicated for the three after 11 year-old Danny (Avan Jogia) murdered his aunt during a playdate with Jo (Maddie Hasson) and Lacey (Kylie Bunbury). Years later, after Danny is released from the juvenile detention centre, the three reunite. He soon becomes the main suspect after a fellow high-school student is found dead in her own home.
