An hour went by and the crowd started to get slightly antsy and began chanting her name, in hopes she would hear the excitement in their voices. Soon enough the 20 year old pop star emerged and the crowd went wild. She began the night with ‘Unbroken’, a song from her last album, with the crowd joining in the song in no time. Once the song was over, Demi then greeted her Singaporean fans and talked for a bit. Demi also talked about the weather saying it was ‘very hot here’, and after drinking from a plain water bottle, she threw it into the crowd. As you can imagine, the fans went nuts trying to attain it. She sang many songs from her previous albums such as ‘Get Back’, ‘La La Land’ and ‘Here We Go Again’, to name a few. Demi then mellowed things down when she addressed the crowd about her self-harm and bullying issues which she experienced in the past and ensured her fans that it will get better and then thanked them for ‘keeping her strong’. She then took her place at the piano and sang ‘Skyscraper’, an emotional song she recorded before going into a treatment facility. One of the many highlights of her concert here was when she covered two songs, ‘House That Built Me’ by Miranda Lambert and ‘Turn up the Music’ Chris Brown. She got to show off her guitar skills when she performed ‘Fix A Heart’. She also performed her latest single, ‘Heart Attack’ and closed the night by returning to the stage to sing ‘Give Your Heart A Break’ after leaving for a couple minutes. It was an unforgettable night for the fans; being able to experience her powerhouse vocals as this was also Demi’s first, but hopefully not last, show in Singapore.
